Thanks Dr Neil. I really enjoyed your presentation - I've been trying to adopt many XP like practices, but it's easy to focus on the details of the process and not consider the core values of communication, simplicity, feedback, courage and respect you talked about.
In a large organisation, the last value, respect, seems to be the most difficult for many people, but it's what makes people enjoy their work, and people who enjoy their work are more likely to be productive whatever the tools or details of the process.
